What Is FRASERCARE’s CQC Rating?

The Care Quality Commission is the regulator for Health & Social Care in England and inspects every care service in the country. Following the inspection, the CQC awards a rating of either inadequate, requires improvement, good, or outstanding.

FraserCare has recently been awarded a GOOD rating! We strive to go above and beyond and provide an outstanding service for  all our clients.

What Should I Consider When Choosing a Home Care Provider?

When you choose a home care provider, for yourself or for a loved one, it’s important to consider a number of different factors. Firstly, you must be certain that your chosen care provider will keep their client safe, well-groomed, and provide adequate support in managing any long-term health conditions.

Many home (or domiciliary) care providers provide either an hour-by-hour service or a live-in care worker. Some also provide registered nurses. FraserCare Services provides an hour-by-hour service and sleep-ins (whereby a care worker will sleep at your home if you feel insecure at home overnight. We do not provide registered nurses, but we are able to liaise with a Registered District Nurse if one is provided by the NHS.

Your care provider should also work with healthcare professionals (such as your GP, pharmacist, or occupational therapist) to offer a joined-up package of care. Joint working should be smooth, with excellent communication between different organisations.

For your peace of mind, you may wish to book a live-in care worker. If you don’t require a care worker around the clock but you need a helping hand from time to time, then FraserCare Services is the right choice for you. In particular, we focus on helping clients do more of the things they love and get the most out of life.
